We chose this hotel purely as an overnight stop on our tour of the South and because we had discovered there was a Tina turner Museum in Brownsville as she grew up there. Although the hotel is out of town it turns out that the museum is on the same lot! The museum is really worth a visit, it’s part of the Delta Heritage Museum. They have relocated her school house from Nutbush and filled it with memorabilia. In particular they have Tina’s outfits from her last big tour, it’s an amazing collection. The hotel is typical of the brand with friendly staff and clean and comfortable rooms. While in town be sure to visit the world famous Helen’s BBQ where she cooks over a daily lit pit filled with beech wood, the potato salad is amazing too

They were super friendly and accommodating we were able to get in just early enough for some restaurants to be open and it was only a short ride to town. The place was very clean, cool, and comfy and breakfast although minimal was very nice (juice, coffee, cereal, prepackaged bakery items) and gave us the strength to do another 12 hours on the road. PLUS the place is dog friendly ☺️

Isabel

The staff there was very nice and polite I just wish they had better deals as far as their pay rate because if so I would have been there for the rest of my stay because I needed a hotel for about 2 weeks until I got moved I'm here for a job but other than that I have nothing bad to say they are great people and it was very nice and clean there and they treated me very polite

Laquasha

I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms have been remodeled and comfortable. Easy to unload car and pet friendly. It seems hotels are using metal base frames for the beds. So if one is damaged each time you sit on bed it sounds like you sat on a file cabinet!

Annette

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was OK. Price was a little high for the quality of this hotel. But things were alright.
